Chess set planning
as of right now, I plan on using the loft functions for the horse and pawn to generate the tail of a sea horse and a rock. With the king and queen, I plan on having a pearl hoisted on top of a pillow at different heights and different pearls to differentiate. Though in the drawing I put it coming out of a shell, I'll be removing the shell aspect to help with time. the bishop I planned to make with a winding pipe & spiral combo. For the castle, I remember it being said in class that there was a grasshopper code for the coral-like layering. If not possible I think I'll use the other pillar-like option of the pawns.
I have also managed to make a rough model of the pawn...
It Is two lofted pentagons, with adjusted points for the top layer. The slight protrusion, is the larger lofted shape shrunk down and booleaned together.
